Pack 1776 will participate in this year’s July 4th parade through Marietta. The Pack is invited to march with Troop 1776 holding possibly one of the largest flags you’ve ever seen up close. It’ll stretch clear across the street.
- Dress: Class A’s all the Way
- When: Saturday, July 4th
- Staging Area: Begins at the Roswell Street Baptist Church (http://tinyurl.com/mqhwu3). Exact location in the parking lot will not be known until the day of.
- Time: Step off is at 10:00 am. But arrive before 9:00 am if you can. They close the streets to cars and you’ll have to park further from the church.
- Parade End: at the end of the parade (near the Cobb County Police Headquarters), city-provided buses will return marchers to the beginning of the parade route. Alternately, you can have someone meet you at the end of the route.

It’s time once again for the leaders to band together (picture at right are some of them–you know which ones you are), eat some sandwiches and plan the 2009-2010 calendar. And if you would like to be a leader, you are more than welcome to attend as well. The more the merrier.
